With water temps climbing into the 70s and schools of baitfish pushing into the estuaries, we’ve seen a surge in action across the board. We’re finding singles and small pods cruising the flooded grass on higher tides—classic spring tailing red action. On lower tides, they’re staging in deeper creek bends and around oyster mounds.
